While the mainstream press is sipping down lattes and covering Rosie O’Donnell they are missing some real important stories like this—and what horrible story it is:
Colombian Death Squad Used Live Hostages
“Towards the middle of 1994, I was ordered to a course… in El Tomate, Antioquia, where the training camp was located,” he says in his testimony. There, his working day started at 5 in the morning and the instructions were received directly from the top commanders such as ‘Double Zero’ (Carlos Garcia, since assassinated by another paramilitary group).
Villalba claims that in order to learn how to dismember people they would use farmers they gathered together in the course of taking neighbouring settlements. As he describes it, “they were aged people whom we brought in trucks, alive and bound up”. The victims arrived at the ranch in covered trucks. They were lowered from the vehicle with their hands tied and taken to a room. There they were locked up for days in the hope that the training would start.
“The instruction of courage” would start later: the people would be divided up in four or five groups “and there they dismembered them”, says Villalba in his testimony. “The instructor would say to each of them: ‘You stand there, so-and-so over there and provide security to him who is doing the dismembering’. Every time that a settlement is taken and someone is going to be dismembered, security has to be offered to those doing the job”.
The women and men were taken out in their underwear from the rooms where they had been locked up. Still with their hands bound, they took them to the place where the instructor was waiting to start the first lessons: “The instructions were to chop off their arms, the head, to dismember them alive. They were usually crying and asked us not to do anything to them, that they had families.”
Villalba describes the process: “They were opened up from the chest to the belly and the intestines, the remains, taken out. The feet, arms and head were removed. It was done with machetes or with knives. The rest, the remains, was done by hand. Those of us in training took out the intestines.” The training demanded it, according to him, to “prove the courage and to learn how to make people disappear”.
During the month and a half that Francisco Villaba says he stayed in the course, he thrice saw the instructions in dismemberment. “I myself cut off the arm of a girl. Her head and a foot had already been cut off. She had asked that they not do it, that she had two brothers”. The bodies were carried to graves there itself… where it is calculated that more than 400 people are buried.

MI5 has the right idea:
British intelligence agency MI5 is said to be adopting tactics used by the British Police to keep tabs on paedophiles and other sex offenders to monitor the activities of known or suspected Islamic extremists. The police keep track of known paedophiles by collating sightings of them and noting whom they meet and which areas they frequent - a tactic that MI5 sees as ideal for keeping track of the movements of Islamic extremists, reported The Times. The threat from radicalised young Muslims was growing at such a rate that MI5 has realised that it needs the help of police officers on the streets to help it keep a check on extremists in their areas.

Family member are always the last to know:Algeria bomber no militant: kin
Other friends and family members spoke of Boudina, also known as Mouaad Ben Jabel, as someone who never seemed militant in his religious beliefs.
It’s hard to believe no one knew that some radical behavior was going on before he decided to strap a bomb on himself.

What a deplorable and pathetic display of total brutality perpetrated on a Afghan reporter because Taliban demands were not met. The Taliban are ruthless as they come, and they should be shunned by the whole world. Killing an innocent man because some demands were not met is the definition of evil! We should all say a prayer for Ajmal Naqshbandi, may he rest in peace. Here is an excerpt of the story:
An Afghan reporter abducted last month with an Italian journalist ha been killed by the Taleban in Afghanistan. The Taleban claims they killed Ajmal Naqshbandi because the government had refused to meet its demands to release senior figures from prison. However, the Italian reporter Daniele Mastrogiacomo was released after five Taleban members were freed in exchange. The driver, Sayed Agha, was beheaded last month. Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi has condemned Mr Naqshbandi’s killing. The two reporters and their driver were captured on 6 March in Helmand province. Shohaabuddin Atal, a spokesman for Taleban commander Mullah Dadullah, said: “We killed Ajmal today because the government did not respond to our demands

Great, more conspiracies theories about Osama bin Laden. Does anyone believe Hollywood could put out a decent movie about the war on terrorism instead resorting to conspiracy theories–I doubt it!
American film producer Harvey Weinstein, who saw only the first 15 minutes of Morgan Spurlock’s documentary ‘Where in the World…’, is reportedly offering the independent documentary-maker a multimillion dollar deal. The documentary is top-secret and involves global affairs and figures including Osama Bin Laden, reports pagesix.com. An insider said: ‘It was very competitive. Weinstein and Spurlock met for over an hour to discuss the movie before Weinstein bought the rights.’

Forty-eight percent of Germans think the United States is more dangerous than Iran
Unbelievable poll about the citizenry of Germany: 48% of Germans think America is more dangerous than Iran. Well it’s nice to see our European allies believe in the goodness of America. Just ask yourself Germany, if someone invaded your country who would be the first to come to your defense? Iran? Or the United States? Just remember the United States has your back, I wish you had ours! Side note:
This is sarcasm: In another poll Israelis fear Germany (The Holocaust) 100%, and probably for good reason.

Well sort of—in a new Fox Poll 47% of Americans said capturing Osama bin Laden would encourage more terrorist attacks within the United States. Does this mean 47% of population believes we shouldn’t capture Osama bin Laden? I’m just asking!
Here are the poll results from Fox/Opinion Dynamics:
Do you think the killing or capturing of Osama bin Laden would encourage or discourage additional terrorist attacks on the United States?
Encourage 47%
Discourage 24%
No Difference 21%
Well at least they are honest: Don’t know 8%

When in doubt, kidnap some sailors and to divert the world’s attention away from a nuclear bomb. So with that said, the Holocaust denier has told Iranian residents news is soon coming about the progress of Iran’s atomic work. Great, we look forward to that announcement Mahmoud. In fact, we know that you are so honest with your citizenry that you recently told them you had found a herbal cure for AIDS. How is that working out for everyone? We believe you will have the nuclear bomb before you find a “herbal cure” for AIDS. Moreover, basically what we are saying, you have no credibility at least in the corners of the world where people still care whether or not a radical regime like yours gets its hands on a nuclear weapon.
Here is an excerpt from the Washington Post Article
Iran’s president promised on Sunday Iranians would soon hear more news about the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program, which the West believes is a covert effort to build atomic bombs despite Tehran’s denials. “The Iranian nation will soon hear fresh news about our country’s nuclear transition,” Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was quoted by the official IRNA news agency as saying.

I don’t know about the rest of you but we aren’t buying this:
Saudi Arabia claims to be winning its domestic “war on terror” with the help of a program of re-education and rehabilitation for hundreds of repentant al-Qaida militants once led by Osama bin Laden. Officials in Riyadh say they have seen an 80-90% success rate in a “counter-radicalisation” campaign designed to wean extremists detained by the security forces off the “takfiri” ideology that permits the killing of fellow Muslims and motivates Saudis involved in jihad in Iraq and Afghanistan
Oh, and one last thing:
Program finds jobs and wives for former jihadists
